Few weeks ago I had a last minute cancellation for Saturday and I thought it would be great to organize a mini photo-session giveaway! Instead of having Saturday off and going to the beach I've decided to book two people (whoever contacts me first) and take portraits of them, just for fun! My camera was already loaded with fresh Fuji film, the sun was shining, the weather was sweet... all I needed was two volunteers. I've posted on Facebook that I'll be giving away FREE portrait session and I couldn't believe how many people replied! It was crazy. Avalanche of messages, faces, stories!

The first person who messaged me was Belinda and than few seconds after Jeni.

I knew Belinda for a while and she really helped me in the winter when I needed to reconnect with my inner self. Her Reiki sessions and endless converations made me feel more real and confident, both in my personal and work life. I was so happy that she messaged me and asked me to take photos of her.

I remember telling her few times over the winter about my fscination with trees. I'm always looking for the biggest tree in Ibiza, or anywhere I travel to. The bigger the better. With crazy branches, big leaves and different shades of green.

I met Belinda in the campo, wild Ibizenco countryside, where earth is red and dry, fig trees bear sweet, juicy fruit, old man herds his sheep. We had the best light ever! Soft and gentle summer wind. Belinda's energy was so pure and blissful! It was great to feel she trusted me 100% and she simply let go and let me direct her in the most subtle way.

With Jeni it was a little bit different as we've never really met before. She told me she would like her photos taken because she feels strong, happy and independent at this time in her life. She was glowing! Her hair was like a rainbow and she made me laugh and was totally up for doing anything and everything. From walking barefoot on a field of rye to climbing rocks sticking out of the sea. I could see how happy, confident and relaxed Jeni was. It was great to meet her and to hang out with her for an hour.

I'm so happy I've decided to go out and shoot. It's so rewarding when people open up and share this little moment with you. The photos came out great. I hope I will be able to do more portrait sessions soon. It's so much fun!
